Ein Exciter besteht aus einem Antrieb und einer Spule. Beliebige Objekte können durch die Schwingungen des Treibers angeregt werden und Musik oder Sprache übertragen. Schaufenster, Monitore oder auch Panelen sind geignet um als Flächenstrahler zu fungieren. Zu beachten ist, dass die tiefste Grenzfrequenz, die Klangqualität und Maximallautstärke der fertigen Konstruktion, von der Beschaffenheit und Dimensionierung des Basismaterial der Fläche abhängig ist. Es können auch mehrere Exciter installiert werden.
Anschlußkabel, 130 mm lang, mit blanken Enden liegen bei. Werden längere Kabel benötigt bitte mitbestellen.

The Dayton Audio 32mm Balanced Exciter was originally designed for automotive applications where its rugged design would allow it to pass the requirements for automobiles. It is specially balanced so that when applied to vertical surfaces the exciter is perfectly balanced and will not fall off the surface. The exciter comes with a special mounting adaptor which allows the exciter to be un-screwed and replaced if required. A rubber sleeve ensures the exciter voice coil is sealed from the exterior environment allowing the exciter to be used in garages and on large panels, although not in applications directly exposed to rain or sun for long durations. A 3M adhesive disc allows the exciter to be attached to a wide range of materials. The exciter comes with solder tabs for connection of amplifier wiring.
